Anjan participated in his first yoga competition at age 8 - and won 2nd place. Since then, he has attended and won accolades in more than 350 yoga competitions across India including: All India competitions, National Yoga Competitions, All India Yoga Beauty and Yoga Talent Contest, Champion of Champion in Inter club Competition, "Yoga King" Title (2006 ), Jamshedpur "Yoga Sundarya Title (2000). Having taught since 1997, Anjan's attributes of being friendly, caring and responsible are what make him such an outstanding Private Yoga teacher. He takes the view that each student, whether new or experienced, is unique in their expectations and experience of the journey that is yoga. Accordingly, he teaches in a way that is respectful of each and every practitioner's needs. The experience of yoga in a stress-free milieu that is spiritually supportive, even if it is physically exacting, is an ideal that he strives to create for all his classes and all his students. Anjan's classes are full of fun and laughter where students are encouraged to be self-aware, as this is the essential pre-requisite for mindfulness of other's spiritual well-being.
